First ever Bebecrafts Course a complete Success!

In our second year of business, we decided to share our knowledge of handicraft with many others out there by conducting Bebecrafts Course for the first time ever. In this course, we share many useful tips and guidance to produce what bebebows.com did for the year i.e. bebebows, bebetops, spiral clippes, bow holders etc

I personally had so much fun, and hope the attendees did too. The course ran for about 3 hours in 3 separate session over the course of 2 days, 26 & 27th November 2011.

On October 16th, 2011 we held another three sessions of Bebebows DIY Workshop by which all was FULL HOUSE. As always, it was a lot of fun learning and sharing tips on running a home based business + practical part of learning to make bows! Held for 2 hours at Rivervale Street Sengkang, I personally have trained over 280 people since January 2011.

DIY Workshop 9th August 2011

Believe it or not, I actually have run this course more than 10 times since Bebebows.com establishment. Not only to the public who registered for the course, but also partnering with 4PM, Mendaki and CornerCare which are all voluntary organisation which connects me to low income mothers and troubled families.

Though we did 6 classes last June, we did another 4 today which were all fully booked. Most importantly, I love this opportunity of sharing experiences with potential bow makers and mompreneurs who might move on to start something on their own, and change their own life financially.

So, I spent my Public Holiday today running four back to back workshops from 9am till 7pm.
Most importantly is not what I feel, but what the attendees feel after the whole course.

The training on bow making is fun and easy. Leza is a cheerful & well articulated trainer. Tips given on mumpreneurship is also useful & practical.

Those who made it to the Closed Door Sales yesterday are probably slightly disheartened that the anticipated designer shoes were not available. We had them ordered in from U.S.A early April and should be receiving them soon in this coming week. Closed Door Event

Our event officially starts at 2pm. I actually had tuition classes running since 9am till 1:30pm but was pleasantly surprised to receive guests as early as 12:15 pm. The place was having last minute touch up by my 3 staff, but by 1:30pm - we are hyped and set to embrace the crowd.

This is our 4th Private Sale. We did 3 last year to promote the brand, and cutting it back to twice annually now. It used to be theme as Bebebows Private Sales but now improvised to be known as 'Bebebows Closed Door Sales' Our customers came with their physical invites we mailed through and start their shopping experience here, with us.

They are clearly spoilt for choice because even I get confused to how many accessories and dresses did we have actually displayed. The production was running full scale last few weeks to ensure everything is perfect. I had this plan for months since January 2011 in hope it will be as pleasurable as can be. And it did. All I see are smiles and glad to have met a lot of customers in person (those who regularly shop online). Lil girls are too adorable not to dress up!

For those who cannot make it, fret not. Today is my son 4th birthday so I am taking the day off. But tonight, I should be listing some of the inventory on the official website www.bebebows.com for shopping! Believe it or not, we are among the first in the world to create the BebeClippies and BebeScarfs. Who would have thought how nice bows would look like on acrylic headbands? For those older kids who are not so keen on wearing crotchet headbands - here are alternatives for you. We sell Bebeclippies in a pair and beautiful Bebescarfs. We can even do personalisation for you!

Call me biased? But my favourite has always been Bebetops. I love the designs on hats, and look extremely gorgeous with any clothing. Sadly, I can only showcase these designs for lil girls. Company Update - Giving back to Charity
We highlighted before that Bebebows.com are keen into giving back more to society this year. So as confirmed today, this 3rd February 2011, I am invited by MENDAKI,a local non-profit organisation, to run a course for 16 low-income mothers to teach them handicraft and running a business from home. This is indeed a privilege and I honour the invitation. Last year, we also coach mothers organised by 4PM and mentor over 60 students about entreprenuership over a 4 day camp.

I know some of you were wondering, because 3rd February 2011 is also the official launch of 'Spendless Cosmetics'. The event starts 11-3pm. I will be away coaching in the morning and will rush back to attend to you all. My P.A. is around to assist as well. That same night, of 3rd Feb, I will be off to KL followed by Sabah for work.

When my family and I migrated from Australia back to Singapore with a dream of running a business from home, and being more around family, our first company was born in December 2008 - Parker Didactics Tuition Pte Ltd. For starters, welcome to Bebebows.com Blog. This was set up with the aim of keeping you closely updated on what is going on in the World of Bebebows.com. I wish it can be a daily update because they are many things I would love to share, but if only, one day has more than 24 hours. Sigh.

DIY WORKSHOP 1

This is probably familiar to you, fans. We ran this course multiple times last year and have trained over 80 mothers/ladies who have gone on to establish their own side business, brand, website and even supply stores. One of them even got their items published in magazines. Amazing.

Amazing isn't it? To see these small ideas materialising to be something 'solid'. The satisfaction the attendees received is probably beyond words. So, here it is, due to overwhelming request, the first DIY Workshop 1 for the Year 2011.

What happens after the sale?
There are strong demands for these cosmetics, which is why I imported 3000 pieces. The unsold items will be carried by our authorised resellers at Anchorpoint Mall, Yew Tee Point Mall, Compasspoint Mall etc for February 2011.

I will create, soon, a Facebook page for Spendless Cosmetics where you can follow up on the events calender to know which of my resellers are selling for the particular week.
